Our next meeting will be on Saturday, February 21, 2009 - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Topic: Genealogy Research Process Map. Presented by Gene Pennington. We're going to explore an article from Mark Tucker's ThinkGenealogy blog that discusses a visual map of the genealogy research process. This is Mark's visualization of concepts from the Board for Certification of Genealogists and Elizabeth Shown Mills.
I've used this to help me with my research and I've found it to be of great value. I think it's one of the best visual aides to come along in some time for genealogy researchers. It puts a very complex topic into easy to read and understand visual form.
Go to --> http://www.thinkgenealogy.com/2008/07/ to read the entire article and to download the Genealogy Research Process, version 2 Map.
