Mme. Fourgeaud died in San Francisco last week.
Mr. G.W. L'Amoureaux had gone to Mojave Country.
Hon. C. Washburne has taken Col. Saunder's cottage, and will probably become a permanent resident of San Rafael.
The remains of J.W. Upton and G.W. Stinson were exhumed on Pt. Reyes last week, and brought to Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery. Mr Upton died in 1872, yet strange to say, his appearance was as life-like as when he was buried.
The will of the late Mr. David L. Phillips is filed for probate. The amount of the estate in CA., is estimated at about $200,000. Half is given to the widow, $5,000 to each of the 6 children at majority, and the remaining half , less these bequests, to be equally divided among the children when the youngest becomes of age.
